1. To measure Female aerator size, you need to measure inner diameter of the aerator.
2. To measure Male aerator, you need to measure outer diameter of the aerator.

Not clear. On the female ur measuring the ID of threads. On the male it appears ur measuring the OD of the unit, not the threads. why would you not measure the OD of threads on the male??
